Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Salaried General Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team, working 5 sessions per week. Specific working days can be discussed and agreed with some flexibility.

South Axholme Practice has a population of approximately 15,000 patients, operating across five sites located in Epworth, Belton, Haxey, Owston Ferry, and West Butterwick.
Due to our multi-site structure, the successful candidate must be able to travel between sites as required.
You will be working alongside a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team consisting of 9 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 3 Emergency Care Practitioners (ECPs), 4 Practice Nurses, 3 Healthcare Assistants (HCAs), 3 GP Assistants (GPAs), 1 Clinical Pharmacist, 1 Pharmacy Technician and a dedicated team of reception, administrative, and dispensary staff.
Main duties of the job
Provide high-quality patient-centered primary care
Manage a varied clinical caseload including routine and urgent appointments both face to face and over the telephone
Participate in duty/triage sessions as required
Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records

Job Description
All tasks listed in Main Duties plus:
Debrief Registrars as and when required
Home Visits as required
Clinical Administration including the actioning of clinic letters, pathology results and completing medical reports in a timely manner
Participate in educational, practice and clinical meetings
Attend training and events organised by the practice and the ICB/Federation
Contribute to the development and improvement of the practice
Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness
In consultation with patients and in line with current Practice disease management protocols, developing care plans for health
Collecting data for audit purposes
Prescribing in accordance with the Practice prescribing formulary (or generically) whenever this is clinically appropriate
In general the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

Experience Essential
