Job summary
Kingthorne Group Practice is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated Salaried GP to join our friendly, supportive and forward-thinking team. Vacancy is for 4 sessions, 2 sessions on Mondays, 2 sessions on Thursdays plus 0.5 session per week paid CPD. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality patient care and have an active role in our PCN - 4Doncaster Primary Care Network.
As a well-established training practice, we offer excellent support for professional development and encourage further education for all clinicians, staff and GP trainees. There is also the potential for future partnership for interested candidates.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
Provide high-quality, evidence-based medical care to the practice population. Work as an autonomous practitioner and make appropriate clinical decisions in response to presenting conditions. Contribute to the clinical workload and work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team. Adhere to practice policies, procedures and clinical governance requirements. Engage in audit, quality improvement and the development of best practice. Participate in practice meetings and multidisciplinary discussions. Comply with the appraisal and revalidation processes.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
GMC registration and licence to practise Qualified GP with recognised Certificate of Completion of Training Commitment to providing high quality, patient centred care Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with a proactive approach to clinical work
Desirable
Experience working in a primary care setting Experience with SystmOne Interest in education and involvement in GP trainee development
