Main duties of the job
Delivering safe, professional and high-quality diagnostic radiography services to a diverse patient population. Performing a broad range of imaging examinations using digital radiography and theatre-based C-arm equipment. Ensuring compliance with IR(ME)R 2017, IRR17, radiation safety regulations and quality assurance standards. Justifying imaging referrals, reviewing reports and helping maintain the highest standards of clinical governance. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide outstanding patient-centred care. Supporting audits, quality improvement initiatives and maintaining accurate radiology records and patient data. Varied shift patterns between 07:45 and 20:15
About us
BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography, DCR(R) or equivalent qualification. Current HCPC registration. Strong knowledge of radiation protection, IR(ME)R regulations and diagnostic imaging best practice. Experience working confidently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. A compassionate, patient-focused approach with excellent communication skills. Commitment to continuous professional development and delivering exceptional standards of care.
