Located on the picturesque border of North Lancashire and South Cumbria, Carnforth and Milnthorpe Primary Care Network (PCN) is home to Ash Trees Surgery and Park View Surgery. Our priority is providing exceptional patient care and fostering a collaborative team environment.

We are excited to announce an opportunity for an associate GP to join our dynamic and dedicated team at Ash Trees Surgery.

Main duties of the job

As an associate GP, you will play a vital role in enhancing our PCN services, focusing on:

Enhanced health in Care Homes Urgent, acute and routine clinics Addressing the frailty domains of the GP Delivery Improvement Framework Supporting Urgent Care demand

Conduct in-person and telephone consultations Visit patients at home and in nursing homes Manage repeat prescriptions and clinical administration Collaborate closely with our PCN team to enhance patient care and frailty management

Ash Trees Surgery is one of our practices, within our two practice PCN. Ash Trees Surgery has six branch sites, is committed to providing comprehensive healthcare services. We are training practices offering a variety of enhanced services, including minor surgery, womens health, and menopause care.

Person Specification

Experience Desirable

Experience working in a GP practice using EMIS is desirable but not essential

Qualifications Essential

Qualified GP with full GMC registration and a license to practice Must be on a performers list and possess a UK drivers license Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to empathize and listen actively Team-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills Adaptable with a solutions-focused mindset Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
