Main duties of the job The Learning and Development Facilitator role at Avery Healthcare is designed to support and improve team performance through quality training delivery. The facilitators main objective is to ensure the team is competent and compliant, thus delivering exceptional care to residents. Key responsibilities include leading training sessions in multiple homes, identifying learning needs through the Learning Management System, designing engaging course content, and recording sessions accurately. The facilitator also assesses learner knowledge during the training. The role requires a commitment to diversity and inclusion, experience in learning and development within adult social care, knowledge of statutory training requirements, and specific educational qualifications. A UK driving license is necessary, and the position includes mandatory DBS checks.

You will be ensuring that we have a competent and compliant team to deliver exceptional care to our residents.Other responsibilities will include:

Leading training sessions for a cluster of homes, focusing on statutory and mandatory topics Identifying learning needs using the Learning Management System (LMS) Planning and designing engaging learning courses and content. Facilitating interactive induction and refresher courses, both face-to-face and virtually, accurately recording training sessions in the LMS. Assessing learner knowledge, confidence, and understanding throughout training.ABOUT YOUTo be successful in your application, you will live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do.Our ideal candidate must have: Experience in learning and development within the adult social care sector. Qualifications Essential

Experience in learning and development within the adult social care sector; experience in adult social care and related qualifications; knowledge of statutory and mandatory training requirements; commitment to diversity and inclusion; Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or willingness to work towards it); Level 3 (or above) in Health and Social Care (or similar); a UK driving licence and own transport.
