Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Lead to join our supportive and forward-thinking team, helping to promote and facilitate effective communication for all.
The successful candidate will work with our governance board, CEO, finance lead, whole team and advisors to drive implementation of strategic plans in line with our vision and purpose. They will support the day-to-day leadership of the organisation and enable the team to support children and young people to achieve their full potential.
The post has been advertised as part-time (3.5 days per week), however, there is an option of making this into a full time position for a candidate who is motivated and experienced in HR.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate willsupport the day-to-day leadership of the team and the organisation. In particular lead strategic implementation in line with our vision and purpose. They will also contribute to the continuous improvement processes and people.

Our experienced and dedicated team of professionals support individuals aged 0-25 years directly and through others, using high-quality, evidenced-based approaches to maximise impact where they live and learn.

Core responsibilities
Project Management
Define and agree feasible key performance objectives for each project, in consultation with all relevant stakeholders, e.g. commissioners, partners and delivery team. Develop project plans which ensure resources are available, allocated and delivered on time and within budget and scope. Coordinate people and processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. Report and manage risks and issues within boundaries of role and escalate to management as needed.Proof read agreements and documents relating to project delivery Liaise with others to facilitate data recording systems and their effective use for record keeping, monitoring and reporting.Work with suppliers, e.g. rooms booking, IT supportManage IT support and mobile phone contract procurement
Business Development
Support tender submissions. Support business development activity, e.g. attending networking events, building relationships with existing and new partners. Establish and maintain relationships with all stakeholders and team. Lead on the evaluation and monitoring of services and Social Value measurement.
Marketing/PR
Coordinate external communications and marketing activities, e.g. website and social media.
General
Access supervision within the team via regular meetings and appraisals Be committed to continuing the team's professional development, gaining wider experience and expertise through training and support. Support or cover for other core team members when required including the CEO.

Qualifications Essential
GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
Desirable
Marketing Qualification
Experience Essential
Experience of managing multiple tasks and projects. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and a motivation to use tech to improve service planning, delivery and monitoring
Desirable
Experience in Business Development, customer care and sales. Experience in communications, digital marketing and social media. Experience communicating with a range of stakeholders including parents, educational settings and strategic leaders.
Disposition Essential
Ability to manage a diverse day to day workload involving business management, contracts, tendering and marketing/PR. Well developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence others and to inspire confidence and motivate team members. Ability to deliver to timescales. Commitment to high standards of service delivery and customer care.
Desirable
An understanding of speech, language and communication needs. Skills which fit within our coaching culture, e.g. excellent at giving and receiving positive and developmental feedback to support team and individual development.
