This includes qualified counsellors and mental health practitioners, as well as volunteers in training, working across several commissioned services for adults, children, and young people.

Main duties of the job

Your role as Clinical Supervisors will include:

Provide monthly one-to-one clinical supervision, delivering high-quality professional oversight, support and guidance to a team of counsellors and mental health practitioners, including both employed staff and volunteers in training. Promote and embed best practice, supporting counsellors and mental health practitioners to deliver safe, ethical and effective services in line with professional standards. Contribute to service development by attending quarterly meetings with the Service Manager, sharing insights, reviewing progress, and helping to shape continuous improvement.

Salary: We offer a competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience.

Hours: On an ad hoc basis

Job type: Contractor self employed.

Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind (CWW Mind) is seeking experienced Clinical Supervisors to work on a contracted basis, supporting a diverse range of professionals. This includes qualified counsellors and mental health practitioners, as well as volunteers in training, working across several commissioned services for adults, children, and young people.

Key responsibilities

Provide regular, structured clinical supervision to individual counsellors and mental health practitioners. Support practitioners in reflective practice, case management, and ongoing professional development. Work collaboratively with supervisees and the Service Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality services, offering guidance on complex cases. Ensure adherence to ethical, organisational, and professional standards.Professional requirements

Accredited counselling or psychotherapy qualification, with active membership of a recognised professional body. Proven experience in providing clinical supervision, preferably within a mental health organisational setting. Substantial experience delivering individual and group supervision to a team of counsellors, ideally within a subcontracted context. Comprehensive knowledge of therapeutic approaches, including trauma-focused CBT, person-centred, and integrative models.Application

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

Accredited counselling or psychotherapy qualification, with active membership of a recognised professional body.

Experience Essential

Proven experience in providing clinical supervision, preferably within a mental health organisational setting. Substantial experience delivering individual and group supervision to a team of counsellors, ideally within a subcontracted context.

Knowledge and Skills Essential
