We are looking for a Radiology Assistant to help us build a healthier nation at our Derby Hospital.

As our Radiology Assistant, you will:

Support patients undergoing investigationsWork alongside Consultant Radiologists & RadiographersAssist with booking appointments and reception coverBe part of our wider Radiology team, supporting with clinical services as required

To succeed as Radiology Assistant you will need: NVQ Level 2 in a Health related subject is desirable (but not essential)Previous experience working in a healthcare setting would be an advantage.You will also assist with administrative tasks, so a good level of IT literacy is necessary.Excellent communication skillsThe ability to work under pressureDemonstrate compassion and understandingBe a team player

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

NVQ Level 2 in a Health related subject is desirable (but not essential)

Experience Essential

Previous experience working in a healthcare setting would be an advantage. You will also assist with administrative tasks, so a good level of IT literacy is necessary.
