The Groves Hinchley Wood is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our team and deliver highquality, patientcentred care at our Hinchley Wood Surgery.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced General Practice Nurse who can confidently manage core primarycare nursing duties and contribute to a safe, efficient clinical service. You will be joining a supportive, wellestablished organisation with strong nursing leadership and a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job
As an experienced Practice Nurse, you will
Provide evidencebased treatments and clinical interventions appropriate to patient presentation
Undertake a full range of treatmentroom duties and deliver chronic disease management clinics
Lead and complete asthma and diabetes reviews in line with current guidelines
Carry out core clinical tasks, including but not limited to:
Travel health consultations and vaccinations
Cervical screening
Childhood immunisations
Wound management
Blood pressure monitoring and ECGs
Work collaboratively with GPs, fellow nurses, HCAs, and the wider MDT to ensure safe, highquality patient care
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records in line with NHS and practice standards
Deliver health education, lifestyle advice, and supportive counselling to patients and their families
Stay up to date with current clinical guidelines, medical developments, and best practice in primary care

Groves Health is seeking a motivated and experienced Practice Nurse to join our team and deliver high quality patient care. This role is based at our Hinchley Wood Surgery.
The role includes a broad range of clinical responsibilities, such as patient assessments, care planning, treatment room duties, and the delivery of Chronic Disease Management clinics. You will also undertake specific tasks including travel health consultations, cervical screening, childhood immunisations, wound care, venepuncture, and routine health checks.
Working closely with GPs, fellow nurses, and the wider healthcare team, you will play a key role in ensuring patients receive safe, effective, and compassionate care. You will maintain accurate patient records, provide health education and counselling, and stay up to date with current clinical guidelines and best practice.

Qualifications Essential
Registered Nurse with current NMC registration Evidence of uptodate NMC revalidation Experience in a primary care GP setting Competence in adult and childhood immunisations and vaccinations Current cervical cytology training and ability to perform cervical screening Experience in wound care, dressings, and treatmentroom duties Ability to independently manage chronic disease management clinics, including asthma, diabetes, and COPD
