About this role
Job summary Join the Yorkshire & Humber Childrens and Teenagers & Young Adults (TYA) Oncology Operational Delivery Network and make a meaningful contribution to improving cancer services across the region. As a Data Quality and Administration Co-ordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality data supports better patient care, service improvement, and national reporting. Working closely with NHS Trusts, clinicians, and multidisciplinary teams, you'll combine data analysis with administrative coordination in a collaborative and supportive environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, analytical, and passionate about making a difference through accurate information, continuous improvement, and effective teamwork while developing their skills within a regional NHS network.
Main duties of the job Provide data quality checking, data analysis and administrative support to the Yorkshire and Humber Childrens & TYA Oncology Operational Delivery Network (CTYA ODN) . Liaise with local teams from across the Network to ensure that this data is accurate, up-to-date and collected in an appropriate manner to meet regional and national standards and deadlines.
Ensure that all units have the appropriate data collection systems in place.
Support units with their consenting, data capture and collections processes for analysis and ensure that all teams are participating in data collection for the Network.
Produce operational reports with reference to the data collected as required by the Networks and provide any other administrative support as may be deemed necessary including dissemination of network information, arranging meetings, minutes and diary management.

What you will bring to the role We're looking for someone who has:
Experience of data collection, validation and analysis, ideally within an NHS or healthcare environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to maintaining high-quality data. Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, along with databases and other digital systems. Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams and multiple organisations. An understanding of data quality, confidentiality and information governance principles. The ability to work independently, using initiative while also contributing positively as part of a supportive team. Experience of producing reports and presenting accurate information to support service improvement and decision-making. Strong administrative skills, including organising meetings, taking minutes and managing competing workloads.
