Main duties of the job
Duties
Dressings and wound care to include suture removal. Administer IM injection and vaccinations under PGDs. Cervical smear tests (training available). Monitor and manage long term conditions, providing education and support to patients. Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with confidentiality regulations. Provide health education to patients and their families regarding disease prevention and health promotion. Monitor stock levels and support with ordering. Ensure the practice environment is clean, safe, and well-organised.

Keeping patient records up to date; Checking a patients temperature, pulse and blood pressure correctly; Working alongside and communicating regularly with practice GPs, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
