Were looking for caring and reliable Support Workers to join a small, dedicated team supporting a young adult with complex needs in their own home. Youll be providing 1:1 support to help them live safely, happily, and with as much independence as possible, both at home and out in the community. We have both day and waking night shifts available. About the person youll be supporting: They are a friendly and sociable person who enjoys being around familiar people, sensory activities, going for walks, spending time outdoors, and exploring the local area.They thrive on routine and feel safest when supported by people who understand them well. Communication is non-verbal, using body language and sounds, so being observant and taking the time to get to know them is essential. They are happiest when life is predictable and when their support team work together to keep them safe, comfortable, and engaged. Where youll be working: Sturminster Newton Day shifts - 3pm-10pm (Monday-Friday) Waking night shifts - 10pm - 9.30am Shift times can be adjusted based on applicant availability Please note: This role involves full personal care, meal preparation, and following detailed routines. Qualifications Essential

A calm, patient, and observant approach is required. The ability to build trust over time and follow clear routines and care plans is essential. Experience supporting people with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential, as full training is provided. A full, clear driving license is desirable for day shifts but not essential.
