Main duties of the job The role of a Support Worker at Enable involves making a significant difference in the lives of young individuals by focusing on person-centered outcomes for those with complex support needs. The position requires enthusiasm, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to supporting people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, and other complex needs. The work takes place in Weymouth, specifically at two supported living services on Cranford Avenue, designed to help eight individuals with autism and complex needs live independently within their communities. The Support Worker role involves supporting and encouraging individuals to engage with the community, promoting independence, assisting with daily activities, effective communication, and providing positive behavioral support. Incentives include a pay rate of £13.20 per hour, a refer-a-friend scheme, and opportunities for career development and training. A minimum of 12 months right to work is required for applicants.
