Main duties of the job At Agincare, a leading independent care group in the UK, we're offering an exciting opportunity for a Head of Marketing & PR to shape the future of our organisation. Operating from our Dorset headquarters, the role involves developing and delivering a comprehensive Marketing & PR Strategy aligned with our growth ambitions. Responsibilities include digital acquisition, brand building, and stakeholder management, all aimed at driving growth and elevating Agincare's reputation. Candidates should have significant marketing leadership experience, preferably in a multi-site, service-led environment, with strong commercial acumen and the ability to lead teams and influence executive leaders. Experience in regulated sectors like care or healthcare is a plus.

The OpportunityReporting to the Group Commercial Director, you'll lead the development and delivery of Agincare's Marketing & PR Strategy, ensuring every campaign, communication and investment supports our commercial, operational and growth ambitions.

Working closely with Executive, commercial and operational leaders, you'll drive enquiries, occupancy, reputation and brand awareness, while helping position Agincare for long-term success.

You'll lead the agenda across marketing, communications and PR, seeing the direct impact of your work across the organisation.

What You'll Be DoingDriving Growth

Developing and delivering Agincare's Group Marketing & PR Strategy. Leading digital acquisition across SEO, PPC, paid social, CRM and marketing automation. Driving enquiry generation, customer acquisition and conversion performance. Managing marketing budgets, agencies and external partners to maximise return on investment.Building the Brand

Leading PR, media relations, reputation management and stakeholder communications. Driving awards, events, partnerships and brand-building initiatives. Ensuring Agincare's voice is trusted, consistent and impactful across all audiences.Leading with Insight

Using data, customer insight and analytics to drive performance and improve decision-making. Developing meaningful KPIs, reporting and performance dashboards focused on outcomes and ROI.Inspiring a Team

Leading, developing and motivating a high-performing Marketing & PR team. Building a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.About YouYou're a commercially minded marketing leader who thrives on challenge, sees opportunity where others see complexity and is as comfortable discussing strategy in the boardroom as reviewing campaign performance.

You'll bring:

Significant marketing leadership experience within a multi-site, service-led organisation. A proven track record of delivering marketing strategies that drive measurable growth. Expertise in lead generation, customer journeys, digital marketing, campaign performance and analytics. Strong commercial acumen and a data-driven mindset. Experience leading and developing successful teams. Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the confidence to influence Executive and Board-level leaders.Experience within care, healthcare or another regulated sector would be advantageous, but what matters most is your ability to think strategically, lead effectively and deliver results.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

Significant marketing leadership experience in a multi-site, service-led organization is essential. Candidates must have a proven track record in developing successful marketing strategies, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to influence Executive and Board-level leaders. Experience within care, healthcare, or other regulated sectors is advantageous.
