About this role

Job summary We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, well organised and qualified person to manage a team and deliver high quality non clinical support to individuals in times of crisis.

We deliver quality, recovery focused support to our clients who have a range of mental health needs as well as other support needs including learning disabilities, physical health issues and substance misuse, whilst promoting independence and social inclusion.

Job description Job responsibilities Team Manager - Ramsgate Safe Haven Hours: 37.5 per week Service opening hours: 6pm to 11pm 365 days a year Location: Ramsgate Safe Haven Salary: £31,596 - £34,922 If you are looking for a role where you can have a positive impact on the lives of people living with mental health needs, while demonstrating leadership and guidance to your team then this could be the role for you! About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager to join our service in our Ramsgate Safe Haven that is open 6pm to 11pm every day. We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, well organised and qualified person to manage a team and deliver high quality non clinical support to individuals in times of crisis. We deliver quality, recovery focused support to our clients who have a range of mental health needs as well as other support needs including learning disabilities, physical health issues and substance misuse, whilst promoting independence and social inclusion. Have proven leadership and people management experience, with the ability to motivate, support and develop a high-performing team.Have a good understanding of mental health and the impact it can have on the people who access our services.Be compassionate, accountable and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.Have experience of delivering or overseeing support services for people with mental health or other complex needs.Possess excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build positive relationships with colleagues, partners and people using our services.Have experience of staff supervision, rota management, performance management and other people management responsibilities.Be confident using IT systems and maintaining accurate records and data to support service delivery and reporting.Demonstrate an advanced understanding of complex mental health needs and be able to engage effectively with people accessing services, their families and a range of professionals.Have the emotional intelligence to support, encourage and empower people to achieve positive outcomes.Be confident working independently while providing visible leadership and contributing positively as part of a wider management team.
