Main duties of the job Join The Coombs as a Chef and use your creativity to prepare delicious, comforting meals that brighten our residents days. We offer a refer-a-friend bonus up to £1,000, funded training and career development, including up to QCF Level 5. Other benefits include Blue Light discounts, company pension, and on-demand pay. The role requires at least 12 months of right to work in the UK and experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in a care home setting. Familiarity with IDDSI or complex dietary needs is desirable. This position is part-time, working 20.5 hours a week, with alternate weekends included. You will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals tailored to individual needs, creating enjoyable dining experiences, planning daily menus, and maintaining high food quality and hygiene standards.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK. Experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a care home setting. Knowledge of IDDSI or complex dietary needs (desirable).
