Job summary
We are looking for a flexible and experienced ophthalmic technician to carry out Humphrey fields and Spectralis OCT analysis in our Wirral Vision service
This would be across 1 - 2 days a week and on a 12 month fixed term basis with the start date in September 2026.
Main duties of the job
Responsibilities will mainly include carrying out Humphrey fields and Spectralis OCT analysis.
The successful candidate will already be confident on undertaking fields and nerve fibre analysis.
About us
The Wirral Vision service is commissioned between Cheshire and Merseyside ICB and St Georges Medical Centre and has been running since 2015. The service was originally commissioned with the community trust in 2012.
The service has a skilled and experienced consultant, nursing and administration and adopts a supportive clinical and managerial environment.
