Job summary
We are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Admin/Receptionist (part time or full time) to join our established GP practice team. This role plays a key part in the effective day to day running of the practice and in delivering a high quality, patient focused administrative and reception service.
The post holder will act as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing a polite, professional, and efficient service both face to face and via the telephone. The role involves liaising with patients, clinicians, ensuring information is handled accurately, confidentially, and in accordance with practice policies and NHS standards.
We welcome applications from individuals who are organised, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a busy environment. Experience of working in primary care and knowledge of SystmOneor EMIS would be required. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise workloads, work well as part of a team, and use their own initiative when required.

Person Specification
Experience Essential
Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience working in a GP practice or a similar setup
Qualifications Essential
- SystmOne or EMIS trained - Excellent communication skills - Worked previously in a GP or similar setup - Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information - Basic IT skills, MS Excel and MS Office
