DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serves as first point of contact for our quests with friendly greetings and exceptional guest service that exceeds our guests’ expectations.
• Registers guests, collects payment, and registers data regarding payment for expenditures.
• Provides quotes for guests and upsell rooms whenever possible.
• Performs all check-in and check-out tasks.
• Ensures all charges are applied to the correct guest account.
• Resolves all guest disputes.
• Answers external and internal telephone inquiries, deliver mail and respond to inquiries regarding the casino promotions, events, restaurants, surrounding area and attractions.
• Ensures all cash and cash equivalents are accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Provides administrative and program support to management and staff.
• Greets all guests and ensures an exceptional customer service experience.
• Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
• Communicate with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean and ready to accommodate guests needs.
• Maintains a working knowledge of business objectives in order to deliver quality products and service that meets guest needs.
• Works in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner abiding by all health and safety regulations.
• Maintains a professional appearance and acts as a role model according to the established grooming and appearance policy.
• Stays informed on casino facilities, as well as current and upcoming special events, in order to advise guests and fellow team members, whenever possible.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• Hotel and casino industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of principles and practices regarding customer service in the casino/hotel industry.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Applicants should possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and utilize a variety of standard computer systems/office productivity software at an intermediate or advanced level
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must have ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
