What You'll Do:
• Provide medical advice over the phone, assessing patient needs and determining appropriate next steps.
• Triage and prioritize calls from patients, hospitals, and other providers.
• Follow up on critical labs, pathology results, and imaging, ensuring timely communication to providers and patients.
• Manage and respond to patient messages, including questions, concerns, and care instructions.
• Communicate results, plans of care, and provider recommendations clearly and compassionately.
• Make appointments and coordinate referrals as needed while triaging.
• Provide backup support for medication refills and assist with floor nursing when required.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences through service recovery when necessary.
Who We're Looking For:
• A Nebraska-licensed LPN or RN with at least 1 year of experience in a clinic, inpatient, or home health setting preferred.
• A strong communicator who can read, interpret, and explain medical information with clarity and confidence.
• A problem-solver with excellent clinical reasoning and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Compassionate, patient-centered, and able to adjust to a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working independently and navigating an EMR.
• Flexible and dependable, with a team-first mindset.
