About this role
The Heavy Equipment Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment and light-duty vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operations. This position performs preventative maintenance, completes accurate work orders using fleet management software, troubleshoots mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and supports Apprentices through mentorship. The successful candidate is safety-focused, works well independently and as part of a team, and is willing to travel to job sites and Tłı̨chǫ communities as required.
