• Continental Night Shift: 8:00pm – 8:00am or Continental Day Shift: 8:00am – 8:00pm
• Starting Salary: $23.00 base pay ( $0.50 day shift premium or $1.50 night shift premium)
• Work 7 (12 hour) days every 2 weeks
• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday
• Straight day/night shift, no rotation

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Troubleshoot and perform regular maintenance of all equipment and machines
• Execute planned and ad hoc maintenance
• Commission new equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance for all equipment
• Operate within a multi-skilled environment to maintain the plant's machinery and equipment
• Improving processes to minimize production disruption
• Respond to equipment breakdowns; execute mechanical repairs in a timely manner including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, drives, bearings, and gears
• Install and maintain production equipment
• Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop, execute and maintain preventative and predictive maintenance programs
• Set up and maintain a safe and organized maintenance shop
• Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe from any hazards
• Ensure the safe and efficient operations of the plant
• Work with the Engineering team to develop BOMs for equipment and maintain spare parts inventory
• Maintain maintenance records in the company's enterprise resource planning software
• Achieve maintenance department business, quality and safety objectives
• Follow human resources, environmental health and safety, and Pliteq policies
• Participate in accident investigations and work refusals
• Participate in work related training
• Operate production equipment including mixers, production presses, cylinder press, peeling machines, rewinding machines, convoluters, laminators, regrind and screening line
• Investigate, read, and understand all work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures SOPs)for product being run
• Assemble handmade products that are made from recycled material (e.g. FIS, FF Panels)\
• Place products into designated inventory bins both physically as well as in NetSuite software
• Wrap, strap and correctly label all materials used and produced
• Any other tasks as required
QUALIFICATIONS
• Completion of secondary school and a recognized Millwright Apprenticeship Program or equivalent
• 2-4+ years of experience working as a Millwright/ Maintenance Mechanic in an Industrial Manufacturing setting
• Strong mechanical knowledge
• Hands-on experience working with pumps, motors, conveying equipment, hydraulic equipment and large industrial machines
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and manuals for equipment
• Problem-solve and execute solutions, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment
• Manage multiple tasks and prioritize while staying organized
• Follow work instructions and take initiative

• Lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis
• Stand for 12-hour shifts
• PPE Required: Safety boots, eye protection, ear protection, face mask
• Additional PPE may be required depending on the task being performed
