About this role

The Talent Manager serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to studio leadership—championing the full employee lifecycle, aligning people strategy with business objectives, and fostering a culture of growth, engagement, and development across the organization in Brazil.

In this dual strategic and hands-on role, the Talent Manager ensures that HR programs, local processes, and people focused initiatives strengthen studio performance and support a positive, inclusive culture. This includes translating global HR and L&D strategies into locally relevant actions, advising leaders on organizational priorities, and ensuring compliance with the studio contracts between partners, Brazilian laws, benefits practices, and employment standards. On role, the Talent Manager ensures that Talent programs, local processes, and people focused initiatives strengthen studio performance and support a positive, inclusive culture. This includes translating global HR and L&D strategies into locally relevant actions, advising leaders on organizational priorities, and ensuring compliance with Brazilian laws, benefits practices, and employment standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as a trusted advisor to studio leadership, with primary responsibilities including all aspects of advancing the firm's talent strategy, culture, and brand.

• Collaborates with the leadership team to develop and execute talent strategies aligned with current and future needs.

• Leads talent processes, including recruiting, onboarding, partner/associate relations, compensation guidance, routine administrative benefits support, career development, performance management guidance, recognition, record maintenance, and administration.

• Manages the talent acquisition process by partnering with leadership across practices to understand the skills and competencies required for open roles, recruiting, interviewing, negotiating with candidates, and executing offers.

• Provides support, guidance, and mentorship to partners/associates on delivering feedback, navigating difficult conversations, and mediating conflicts.

• Collaborates with leadership teams to ensure equity across all talent processes, delivering equitable outcomes in support of the firm's JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) goals.

• Demonstrates active listening, flexibility, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, organization, teamwork, confidentiality, leadership, and outstanding partner/associate relationship skills.

• Exhibits excellent interpersonal and client service skills.

• Reviews work for accuracy, omissions, and clarity, and partners with Corporate HR to implement company policies.

• Experience in the services industry and/or design industry is preferable

Summary of Technical Competencies and Certifications

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Teams

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to assess, guide, and influence solutions

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clarity and conciseness

• Experience with data analysis and compliance

• Experience using UKG Pro or similar HRIS products

• Experience in recruitment outreach, interviewing, and selection

Software:

• UKG Pro (preferred)

• Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite

Education, Licenses, and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related fields

Languages:

• English required
