About this role
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct data collection for (Beneficiary registration and verification, Baseline, midline, and endline surveys, post-distribution monitoring, Activity monitoring, or any other program-related assessments.
• Support the MEL team in preparing, testing, and uploading digital data collection tools
• Ensure informed consent is obtained from all respondents before interviews
• Conduct interviews and focus group discussions in a clear, accurate, and neutral manner
• Review completed questionnaires for accuracy, consistency, and completeness before submission
• Upload the collected data to the designated server within agreed timelines
• Assist in basic data cleaning and verification
• Report field challenges, security issues, or inconsistencies to the supervisor immediately
• Represent Mercy Corps professionally when interacting with community members, partners, and local authorities
