McFarland Clinic is currently accepting application for Biologic/Infusion Billing Specialist for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients. Responsibilities include: performing duties related to pharmaceutical billing, specific physician coding and clinic charging procedures in accordance with McFarland Clinic’s Employee-Level Vision Related Behaviors. Duties include: Audit daily charges for infusional therapies. Insurance Precertification of infusional drugs. Counsel patient on cost estimate of treatment. Enroll patients in financial assistance programs as applicable. Serve as a coding and reimbursement resource for the providers and nurses.
