About this role
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and can identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs. Assumes responsibilities of a Physical Therapy Assistant by providing direct patient care under the indirect supervision of a physical therapist from infancy through adults. Works under general clinical direction of the Physical Therapist, but makes judgments regarding re-assessment of patients and development of appropriate patient treatment.
