Patient Safety Infection Control Manager. Derby, CT. Development/coordinate Griffin Hospital's nosocomial infection prevention & control program through education & surveillance. Oversee NHSN data entry & validation. Collaborate w/ Infectious Disease physicians & Environmental Services for appropriate antimicrobial products & processes to protect against infections. Supports Patient Safety & Care Improvement Dept. in clinical debriefs & system review investigations, data collection, management & reporting of key improvement projects. MS in Public Health/Epidemiology w/ 18 mo. exp. as Epidemiologist, Infection Preventionist or in infection control environment. Annual Salary $140,482.00 to $140,482.00
