About this role
The 2nd shift receiving lead provides hands-on leadership and support for daily shipping and receiving operations. This position coordinates the flow of incoming and outgoing materials, ensures accurate processing of shipments and inventory transactions, and serves as a resource for Shipping & Receiving team members. The Shipping & Receiving Lead promotes safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency while helping the department meet customer and business expectations. This role acts as a bridge between team members and management by assisting with workflow coordination, training, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Shipping & Receiving Lead is expected to lead by example and maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment.
