Salary Range: $94,957.00 - $147,183.00
Under the direction of the Director of Procure to Pay, the Purchasing Manager is responsible for the direct oversight and management of Purchasing functions required to support the operations of all campuses of the Albany Med Heath System.
This includes all components of the purchasing process such as, but not limited to, order placement and confirmation, monitoring of open orders, facilitation of product returns and recalls, as well as ensuring purchase orders support timely and accurate receipt of goods and payment of invoices. The position is additionally responsible for the compilation, monitoring, and presentation of data and reports. The position is accountable for ensuring purchasing needs of the organization are met in an accurate and timely manner, while ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and regulations. The position will provide direct supervision and leadership to all purchasing staff and cultivate a team environment to create and support collaboration with colleagues, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure efficiency of processes and outstanding levels of services. The position is on site at the 1275 Broadway location, with occasional travel to off site locations.
