As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering packages and goods to customers throughout the service area. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely, accurate, and courteous delivery services while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety.
Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulationsFollow assigned delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely package deliveryCollect signatures, payments, and delivery documentation from customersMaintain accurate delivery records and manifests using delivery management systemsInspect vehicles daily for mechanical issues and report maintenance needs promptlyKeep delivery vehicles clean and organized at all timesProvide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving delivery concerns professionallyLift, carry, and load packages safely, following proper handling proceduresNavigate using GPS systems and maps to locate delivery addresses efficientlyReport delivery discrepancies, damaged goods, and customer complaints to managementCommunicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status and issues Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordProven experience operating delivery or commercial vehiclesStrong time management and organizational skillsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to read maps and navigate using GPS technologyPhysical capability to lift, carry, and load packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularlyAttention to detail and accuracy in record-keepingReliability and consistent punctualityKnowledge of local roads and geography in the Guntersville area (preferred)Experience with delivery management software or systems (preferred)Strong problem-solving and communication abilities (preferred)Commercial driving experience (preferred) All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
