About this role

Stackgini is building the AI operating system for Enterprise IT.

Across the world's largest companies, IT leaders, demand managers, architects, and IT compliance teams spend their days manually collecting demands, evaluating IT solutions, and governing a growing application portfolio with spreadsheets and disconnected tools. The result: bloated backlogs, redundant software, uncontrolled IT spend and an IT organization that is perpetually reactive instead of strategic.

Stackgini changes this fundamentally. Our system understands your enterprise application landscape bottom-up - from individual demands to full portfolio interdependencies - and can reason about them the way the best human experts do, but at machine scale. We're building toward a future where enterprise IT is self-governing and self-optimizing: no longer a bottleneck, but the engine of innovation.

We already work with leading organization like Siemens Healthineers, REWE, Grünenthal and many more. We are a team of ~10, building what we believe will be the defining platform for a new era of Enterprise IT. We are growing fast, and the people joining now are the ones who set the standard - for the product, the culture, and the category itself. Stackgini will be the place where you will do the most meaningful work of your career.

Tasks As we scale, we’re building a world‑class product guiding customers through the complex journey of enterprise IT and we are looking for a Founding Product Designer & Researcher to take the next level.

Design & Product

Own the entire product design process - discovery, wireframes, prototypes, interaction design, final UI and EPIC definition for Engineering teams. Design AI-native interfaces: Guided workflows, generated content surfaces, AI output verification and structured data views that make complexity navigable. This is a core design challenge at Stackgini, not an afterthought. Work closely with Customers, Customer Success and Engineering. Take designs with engineers to spec, write EPICs, hand off, and do QA. Define and improve information architecture and navigation patterns as the product grows. Translate product strategy and roadmap priorities into design solutions, proactively proposing directions rather than waiting for specs. Build and maintain Stackgini's design system.

User Research

Understand our user personas in and out and radically put yourself into the shoes of their day-to-day needs. Plan and run qualitative research: user interviews, contextual inquiry, and usability testing - with real users on a regular cadence. Think beyond what users say, synthesize findings into actionable insights and communicate them clearly to the team. Identify unmet needs and surface opportunities for new features or improvements.

Requirements Must-Have Experience

4+ years of product design experience with a portfolio showing B2B SaaS, enterprise tools, or workflow automation products. Proven ability to work across the full design lifecycle - from user research and concept through to polished, production-ready UI. Expert-level Figma skills, including component libraries, auto-layout, and design system management. AI-first mindset: you default to AI tools to accelerate your work - research synthesis, copy drafts, prototyping, ideation - not as a shortcut, but as a force multiplier. Hands-on experience with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools such as Lovable, Claude (Anthropic), Cursor, or Claude Code to move from concept to working prototype rapidly. Demonstrated experience designing AI ↔ Human interaction patterns - you know how users prompt, review, correct, and build trust with AI-generated outputs. You understand where AI should lead, where humans must stay in control, and how to design the handoff between both. Experience in early-stage or 0→1 product environments where you've had to make decisions with limited information. Strong interaction design instincts: you think in flows, not just screens.

Highly Valued

Background designing compliance, risk, or governance tools (or other high-stakes, information-dense B2B products). Familiarity with enterprise IT landscapes or the IT4IT ecosystem. Experience in fast-growing startups or dynamic environments. Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and inclusive design practices.
