Job Title: FINANCE ASSOCIATE Contract Type: Permanent Location: Luxembourg Salary: Negociable Start Date: 13-01-2026 Reference: JO0000005305 Job published: 13 January 2026 FINANCE ASSOCIATE – PRIVATE EQUITY FIRM THE JOB: DO Recruitment Advisors is delighted to recruit on behalf of its client, a leading investment fund firm, for the position of Financial Associate – Finance. The successful candidate will be expected to independently manage a portfolio of Luxembourg entities from planning through execution, ensuring high-quality delivery, mitigating risks, driving process improvements, and providing guidance and support to junior colleagues. The key responsibilities are: Finance and Operations Conduct comprehensive reviews of accounting records and provide final approval for the assigned portfolio of entities, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. Plan, manage, and execute the end-to-end delivery of assigned entities, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes, including but not limited to the preparation and analysis of financial information as required, consolidation where applicable, distribution of proceeds, and analysis of investment classifications. Manage cash operations, including accounts payable, budgeting, and forecasting. Tax Implement effective tracking systems to ensure all deadlines and payment due dates are met. Coordinate with external advisors and provide financial data for the preparation of income tax returns, VAT returns, and other tax compliance requirements. Coordinate the maintenance of transfer pricing documentation. Maintain continuous communication and collaboration with the tax team. Prepare reports for cross-border tax reviews on an ad hoc basis. Legal & General Establish and maintain structured monitoring processes to ensure corporate files and databases are accurate and up to date. Support the legal team and external legal counsel on corporate governance matters related to SPVs, including the preparation of Board meeting packs. Lead the administration of intra-group arrangements. Leadership Guide and develop junior team members, including offshore consultants, through regular feedback and coaching, while promoting behaviours aligned with the firm's values and culture. Actively contribute to a positive, respectful, and performance-driven team environment. CANDIDATE PROFILE: University degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance. Four to six years of relevant experience, including experience in audit (Big Four) or with a fiduciary services provider, with prior exposure to alternative investments (e.g. Private Equity, Private Credit, or Real Estate). An accounting qualification (Luxembourg Chartered Accountant, ACCA, or equivalent) is a strong asset. Solid knowledge of Lux GAAP is required; knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP is an advantage. Prior exposure to tax compliance matters is considered an asset. Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with the ability to manage projects independently and escalate when appropriate. Acts as a role model for colleagues and proactively proposes solutions to streamline processes. Provides mentorship, motivation, and support to colleagues and demonstrates adaptability in multicultural environments. Proficient user of MS Office; experience with Sage BOB 50 and Camele'on is an asset. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
