Senior Fund Controller F/M - Asset Management Firm Reference: LU876841 Luxembourg Permanent Property and Real Estate As part of the continued growth of its Fund Finance function, our client is seeking a Senior Associate to join the fund control team in Luxembourg. You will work in a fast-paced, international environment, closely supporting the Fund Controller Director and contributing to the financial management, reporting, and oversight of a complex portfolio of real estate funds and investment structures. This role offers significant exposure to fund accounting, consolidation processes, investor reporting, and technical accounting within a sophisticated real estate investment platform. Key responsibilities Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Oversight of quarterly NAV consolidation • Preparation and review of IFRS and INREV reporting data for consolidation purposes • Assistance with transaction support and intercompany reconciliations • Close collaboration with joint venture structures • Liaising with internal stakeholders and external parties (auditors, administrators, advisors) • Oversight of loan administration, payment processes, invoice approvals, and cash management activities • Maintenance and monitoring of share structures (including alphabet shares) • Support in ensuring compliance with tax structuring requirements • Tracking of legal documentation for new investments (including depositary requirements) • Management and oversight of SPVs across multiple jurisdictions • Involvement in technical accounting matters • Ensuring compliance with investor side letter reporting obligations • Review of regulatory filings (corporate income tax, VAT, annual accounts) • Acting as key contact for audit queries related to group consolidation • Preparation of quarterly investor reporting packs • Participation in ad hoc projects as required Profile We are looking for a highly motivated finance professional with strong technical expertise and a solid background in real estate fund structures. The ideal candidate will have: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline • Professional qualification such as ACCA / ACA / CA (completed or in progress) • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, with the majority in real estate fund structures • Ideally Big 4 audit experience in real estate funds / real estate clients strongly preferred • Strong IFRS expertise (mandatory requirement) • Solid understanding of INREV standards (highly desirable) • Advanced Excel and strong analytical and IT skills Personal skills • Strong “can-do” attitude and hands-on approach • High level of integrity and attention to detail • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills • Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple stakeholders • Team-oriented mindset in an international environment • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work in a growing and evolving structure
