About the RoleAs our Web Project Manager / Technical Account Manager, you will manage and coordinate web and e-commerce projects from initial discussions through delivery.
This is not a developer role. You are not expected to code, but you do need a solid understanding of how web development works, especially within WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify. Your main responsibility is to keep projects structured, aligned, and moving forward while acting as the main link between clients, developers, and the marketing team.
You will work closely with the CEO and Web Development Support during onboarding and gradually take ownership of more complex projects and client relationships.

General ResponsibilitiesManaging and coordinating web and e-commerce projects from initial onboarding through delivery to ensure structured execution and clear outcomesActing as the main point of contact for clients throughout web projects, ensuring expectations, scope, and priorities are clearly defined and managedLeading discovery and onboarding phases to gather technical, marketing, and business requirements before project executionOverseeing projects built on WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify, with a clear understanding of how these platforms function and differCoordinating third-party and API integrations such as payment providers, logistics systems, analytics tools, and marketing platformsCollaborating closely with web developers to define feasible solutions, timelines, and technical approachesWorking with the marketing team to ensure websites and web shops support performance marketing, tracking, and future scalabilityGuiding clients through technical and strategic decisions at a high level, translating complexity into clear recommendationsPreventing scope creep and project inefficiencies by identifying risks early and managing changes proactivelyMonitoring project progress and ensuring deliverables meet agreed requirements, timelines, and quality standardsTranslating technical discussions and project status into clear, actionable updates for clientsMaintaining structured documentation for projects, including onboarding materials, access, checklists, decisions, and handoversSupporting the continuous improvement of internal web project processes and workflowsOverall, this role exists to ensure Digitalist’s web projects remain structured, efficient, and commercially sound.
