🏗️ Job Description: Civil Engineer – Product DevelopmentWe are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our product development team. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives on transforming ideas into reality, combining technical expertise with creative problem-solving. The Civil Engineer will play a key role in evaluating product strength, supporting design innovation, and ensuring structural integrity across new product lines.
Key ResponsibilitiesStructural Analysis & Calculations: Perform strength and stress calculations to ensure product safety, durability, and compliance with engineering standards.Product Design Support: Collaborate with designers and engineers to bring innovative product concepts to life, from initial sketches to final production.Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed cut sheets, technical drawings, and engineering reports.3D Modeling & CAD Work: Develop and refine STEP files and other CAD models for manufacturing and prototyping.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and manufacturing teams to align engineering solutions with business goals.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance product performance, reduce costs, and optimize materials.Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs meet industry codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
🎓 QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility is an advantage.2–5 years of experience in product design, structural analysis, or related engineering fields.Technical SkillsProficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).Strong knowledge of structural mechanics, materials science, and load-bearing calculations.Experience with creating STEP files and technical cut sheets.Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Creative mindset with attention to detail.
