About this vacancy As a Cloud Platform Engineer , you’ll be responsible for operating and optimizing modern container‑based platform services running primarily in a private cloud environment . You ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud‑native infrastructure while empowering development teams with robust platform capabilities. Your responsibilities will include: Operating, maintaining, and improving private cloud container platforms. Establishing operational processes (incident, problem, change). Implementing CI/CD standards, tools, and automation. Developing and enhancing observability (SLIs/SLOs, metrics, dashboards). Ensuring platform policies, compliance, and security. Collaborating across teams to operationalize cloud and data services. Handling service requests, incidents, and problem follow‑up. Contributing to platform documentation and knowledge sharing. What we expect from you At least 4 years of experience operating cloud or enterprise systems, with focus on private/hybrid cloud environments . Deep knowledge of Kubernetes (CRDs, operators, deployments). Strong understanding of containerization and application packaging. Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk). High proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and software delivery automation. Good networking fundamentals (protocols, load balancing, security). Strong scripting capabilities (Shell, YAML, Python, Ansible). Fluent in English; Dutch/French/German is a plus. Valid driver’s license and availability for on‑call rotations.
