Context / Project Background Our client in the financial services sector is looking for a Senior Functional Analyst with strong experience in banking or insurance environments. You will play a key role in analysing, designing, and supporting business-critical systems, ensuring that functional requirements are translated into scalable and effective IT solutions. Responsibilities · Lead functional analysis activities and produce detailed design documentation · Translate business requirements into functional specifications · Support system enhancements and production changes · Evaluate service requests and assess feasibility and impact · Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders · Support testing, quality assurance, and system improvements · Ensure alignment with Agile delivery practices Required Skills & Expertise Must Have: · Strong experience as Functional Analyst in banking or insurance domain · Proven experience in functional design and system analysis · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills · Experience with Agile methodologies · Strong communication and stakeholder management skills · Experience in testing and quality assurance Should Have / Nice to Have: · Data-driven mindset · Basic knowledge of data tools (SQL, Informatica, Qlik, SAS) · Understanding of IT security principles · Exposure to software development environments Soft Skills · Strong analytical and conceptual thinking · Clear and structured communication · Collaborative and team-oriented mindset · Ability to work in complex environments · Proactive and solution-driven approach
