About the Role: As an Information Security Officer, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's IT infrastructure and sensitive data. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing robust security protocols and procedures Conducting regular security assessments and audits Monitoring and responding to security incidents Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures Serving as a point of contact for security-related inquiries Leading the certification project for ISO27001 Staying updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Fluency in Dutch, with strong English language skills Proven experience as an Information Security Officer or similar role In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, CIS) Strong understanding of network security, encryption protocols, and secure coding practices Experience in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response Familiarity with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM) Relevant technical certifications (e.g., ECIH, CEH) are highly desirable Personal Qualities: Accountable and transparent Tech-savvy and passionate about IT Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality results
