About this role
As a Sales Support Officer at OrienBites, you are the first point of contact for all incoming commercial interest generated via trade fairs, the website, social media and other channels. The mission is to actively follow up these leadsand to convert them into sales opportunities, and close deals where possible, or further nurture interest in OrienBites' products and distribution through wholesalers. Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate all digital marketing activities, in close collaboration with sales and marketing colleagues in Europe and Asia. Follow up all inbound leads from trade fairs, website enquiries, social media and other channels Conduct proactive follow-up mainly by telephone with professional and persuasive communication Qualify and engage contacts such as caterers, restaurateurs, hotels and wholesalers Close sales deals where appropriate or keep prospects warm for future conversion (Re)Connect interested prospects with relevant wholesalers Maintain accurate lead tracking and reporting Act as liaison between Sales Support Coordinators in Brussels, Sales Managers in Benelux and France, and the Social Media and Marketing teams in South-East Asia Provide structured feedback to sales and marketing on lead quality and market response Fluent in English, French and Dutch (spoken and written) Minimum 5-6 years' experience in a commercial, sales support or customer-facing environment Strong telephone communication and follow-up skills Customer-oriented, results-driven and well organised Comfortable working with CRM systems and digital tools Proactive, autonomous and collaborative team player Affinity with food, hospitality or FMCG is a strong asset Competitive, market-based remuneration Dynamic, entrepreneurial and international working environment Growing company with clear ambition and development opportunities Full-time position based at the head office in Brussels (Hoeilaart)
