**Experienced Seamstress / Sewing Professional Wanted as a Light Entrepreneur – Industrial Sewing Machine Experience Required** **Job Description** J&H Couture Oy is looking for an experienced seamstress / sewing professional for sewing work on an assignment basis, as a light entrepreneur or subcontractor. This work is suitable for someone who has previous experience in professional sewing, industrial sewing machines, and precision garment sewing. The tasks are related to the production of made-to-measure garments, especially Romani skirts, in different stages of the sewing process. Work is available depending on the order situation, approximately **0–60 hours per week**. Often there may be **20–60 hours of work per week**, but no minimum number of hours is guaranteed. The amount of work is always agreed separately according to each assignment. The compensation is **€16/hour + applicable VAT**, against invoice. The work is carried out as a light entrepreneur, through your own company, sole proprietorship, or via another invoicing service. **Work Tasks** The work tasks may include, for example: - sewing Romani skirts and other garments in different stages of production - handling linings, velvet, and other materials - sewing with an industrial sewing machine - overlocking/serging and finishing - working according to measurements and instructions - checking quality at different stages of the work The work requires care, good sewing skills, and the ability to produce neat and precise results. **Requirements** We require the applicant to have: - experience using industrial sewing machines - experience in professional sewing - care and attention to detail - the ability to follow given measurements and work instructions - a responsible and self-directed working style - the ability to invoice the work as a light entrepreneur, through their own company, sole proprietorship, or via an invoicing service Previous experience in garment sewing, skirts, made-to-measure clothing, or sewing heavier materials is considered an advantage. **We Offer** We offer: - sewing work depending on the order situation - flexible working hours, approximately 0–60 hours per week - often the possibility of 20–60 hours of work per week, depending on the order situation - compensation of €16/hour + VAT - the possibility of long-term cooperation - clear work instructions and agreed work stages - work in a company producing made-to-measure garments **Contract Type** **Assignment-based work / light entrepreneur / subcontracting** This is not an employment relationship. The work is carried out against invoice as a light entrepreneur, through your own company, sole proprietorship, or via an invoicing service. You may invoice the work through your own company, sole proprietorship, or a light entrepreneur invoicing service.
