About this role
As a Food Industry Machine Operator (v/m/x), you play a crucial role in the food production process. You’ll operate and set up production and packaging machines, handle minor malfunctions to keep things running smoothly, and ensure our products meet the highest standards for quality and hygiene. A typical workday starts with setting up your machines and checking the production plan. You keep the lines running, change film rolls, restock boxes, and make sure labels are applied correctly. You use a computer to record production and quality data. You'll work closely with your team and frequently communicate with the team leader to optimize the process. You have a high school diploma or equivalent through experience At least 2 to 5 years of relevant experience as an operator, preferably in the food sector You speak good Dutch or very good English You have technical insight and a problem-solving approach You enjoy working in a team and take initiative You are flexible to work in a two-shift system You are physically capable of performing heavier work You value quality, hygiene, and safety
