About this role
Responsible for the quality management within the plant, the Quality & CI Manager will be in charge of the following missions: · determines, implements and adjusts quality standards and policies, · initiates and implements systems of quality control, mainly of : the raw materials and the products manufactured by the plant · makes the appropriated proposals to improve products or processes · prepares all the internal and external quality audits and manages the follow-up · responsible for all other operational aspects related to quality: taking of samples, training and coaching people, ... · maintains ISO9001 and other certifications of quality · creates and maintains articles in SAP · regular international contacts with other quality responsibles · involved in the different projects led in the Group · manages a team of laboratory workers · attends to the management meeting, quality meeting, etc. · making sure that 5S process is well implemented and respected and organizes audit in accordance with the planning · Takes care that all laboratory equipment is present, enough for the needed analyzes and in good status Responsible for the CI within the plant, the Quality & CI Manager will be in charge of the following missions: · To continuously improve plant performance in line with business strategy requirements and reducing overall maintenance lifecycle cost. · Ensuring plant always produces product to customer specifications. · Setting internal operational standards and measurement of process capability through KPIs. · Reporting of operational performance and adherence to both internal and customer specifications. · Undertake root cause analysis of any out of specification result and recommend effective corrective & preventive actions to avoid reoccurrence in line with the applicable CI techniques. · Optimisation of plant performance – quality, safety, cycle times, costs etc…. · Ensure Operational readiness for internal & external audits and technical reviews. · Lead plant teams implementation of Continuous Improvement within the Operational function to deliver the 3 year Business Plan strategy. You have a Bachelor or Master degree You have relevant experience in Quality and/or Continuous improvement You have managerial skills You’re result oriented You are fluent in Dutch and English You have a flexible and no nonsense personality
