About this role
We are seeking a driven and analytical Site Engineer – Construction Performance to support installation planning, production monitoring and performance optimisation on a major Nuclear project in Bridgewater.
This role sits between Site Engineering and Construction Management, ensuring daily works are technically ready, performance is measured accurately, and blockers are proactively resolved.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Coordination
Build and validate the Shift S+1 Installation PlanLead Shift Validation and Kick-Off meetingsContribute to 16 Week Look Ahead (16WLA) planningMaintain contingency “backup work” plansConfirm readiness against:
Approved workpacksMaterial availabilityWorkforce capacityBuilding/access constraintsOn-Site Engineering & Monitoring
Conduct daily site walks to monitor installation progressIdentify and resolve blockers (access, design queries, materials, labour)Interface with Site Engineering and Design teams to resolve field issuesEnsure works align with the validated shift planPerformance & Reporting
Track planned vs actual daily productionAnalyse lost time and recurring constraintsCategorise internal vs external blockers and escalate systemic issuesSupport QS with documentation of external stoppagesLead the Onsite Construction Monthly Progress Report Required Skills:
Experience in site engineering, production control or construction performanceStrong understanding of installation sequencing and site executionAnalytical mindset with confidence interpreting performance dataAble to influence and challenge site teams constructivelyExperience within large-scale infrastructure, energy or nuclear projects desirableRequired Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.cDesirable Skills:
