About this role
As an AIT Project Planner , you will join join our team in London to support our activities within the Space sector.
You will support Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) activities within a high-reliability engineering environment. Working closely with production, test engineers, and project managers, you will ensure detailed planning and scheduling of hardware build, integration, and test phases through to delivery.

Develop and maintain detailed AIT schedules covering assembly, integration, and test activitiesPlan hardware build sequences, test campaigns, and environmental test slotsCoordinate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure schedule alignmentMonitor progress against milestones and provide regular reporting to stakeholdersSupport risk identification related to schedule, resources, and dependenciesManage changes to scope and ensure planning data remains accurate and traceableWork closely with shop floor leads to ensure realistic and achievable plans Required Skills:
Experience in a planning, scheduling, or technical administration role within engineering or manufacturingProficiency with MS Project, SAP, Primavera, or equivalent planning toolsExperience supporting hardware build or test programmesStrong communication skills with the ability to liaise across engineering and production teamsAbility to work independently within a structured environmentRequired Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.Experience within aerospace, space, defence, or other safety-critical industrieDesirable Skills:
Experience supporting AIT or cleanroom-based programmesFamiliarity with environmental testing schedules (thermal, vibration, TVAC)Understanding of configuration control and change managementExperience working within space or satellite programmes Why join us?
