About this role
As a Project Engineer, you will join the Bristol-based team to support our activities within the aerospace sector.
You will support the delivery of capital investment (CAPEX) projects focused on the acquisition, installation, and industrialisation of new manufacturing equipment. Working closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams, you will manage projects from initial concept and supplier selection through to equipment installation and operational readiness.

Manage CAPEX projects related to the acquisition and installation of new manufacturing equipmentCoordinate supplier tender processes, evaluation, and selectionSupport the delivery of projects ranging from £50k to £40m in valueOversee equipment installation and commissioning activities within manufacturing environmentsMonitor project schedules, costs, and risks to ensure successful deliveryCollaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure industrialisation requirements are metMaintain project documentation and provide regular progress reporting to stakeholders Required Skills:
Experience managing CAPEX or industrialisation projects within engineering or manufacturing environmentsStrong understanding of project planning and delivery methodologiesFamiliarity with APM project management frameworks or toolsAbility to coordinate suppliers, procurement teams, and internal stakeholdersStrong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skillsRequired Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.3–5 years’ experience within engineering project delivery or manufacturing environmentsDesirable Skills:
Experience within the aerospace or defence sectorExperience supporting equipment procurement and installation within manufacturing facilitiesKnowledge of industrialisation processes and manufacturing readinessAPM certification or formal project management training Why join us?
