We are seeking a skilled and detail oriented Audio Visual professional to join our Engineering team at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of all audio visual equipment to support meetings, conferences, weddings, and special events.
Set up, operate, and dismantle audio visual equipment for meetings, conferences, banquets, and special eventsEnsure proper functioning of sound systems, microphones, projectors, LED screens, lighting systems, and video conferencing equipmentProvide on site technical support during events and troubleshoot issues promptlyCoordinate with Banquet, Sales, and Event teams to understand event requirementsPerform routine inspection, maintenance, and testing of AV equipmentMaintain inventory of AV equipment and spare partsEnsure proper storage and handling of all AV devicesAssist in installing and upgrading new audio visual systems when requiredFollow safety procedures and hotel engineering standardsPrepare technical reports and documentation as needed Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Audio Visual or related Engineering field (hotel experience preferred)Strong knowledge of sound systems, lighting systems, projectors, and video conferencing technologyBasic understanding of electrical systems and troubleshootingAbility to read technical diagrams and equipment manualsGood communication skills in EnglishDetail oriented with strong problem solving skillsAbility to work under pressure and during live eventsWillingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidaysTeam player with a proactive and service oriented mindsetPhysically fit to handle equipment setup and movement
