Job Summary
Oversee the overall technical management of the hotel property and facilitiesLead and manage preventative and reactive maintenance programsPlan, supervise and execute all maintenance works and technical projectsPrepare and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets, ensuring cost control and optimisationLiaise and negotiate with external suppliers, contractors, and technical service providersEnsure full legal and regulatory compliance across all technical and safety requirementsMaintain proper documentation, reporting, and certification recordsCollaborate closely with the General Manager and other department headsLead, motivate, and develop the maintenance teamAssess short- and long-term technical needs of the property and plan accordinglySupport sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency improvements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the hospitality industryExperience in an upscale or luxury hotel environment preferredStrong knowledge of managing technical/engineering departmentsProven experience in budgeting (CAPEX & OPEX control)Solid understanding of preventative maintenance systems and compliance requirementsFamiliarity with relevant legislation and safety regulations to ensure full property complianceStrong leadership and organisational skillsResourceful, solution-oriented, and able to multitask effectivelyAbility to manage both internal teams and external service providersGood command of English; local language is an asset Work Conditions:
