About this role

Performing preventive maintenance and servicing on tractor units according to established schedules. Preparing vehicles and components for operational use, technical inspections, and statutory examinations. Carrying out repairs and replacing defective or worn components. Assisting with the assembly and preparation of new tractor units entering the fleet. Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues. Ensuring that all vehicles remain in optimal condition and comply with legal and safety requirements. Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reporting completed work to the Workshop Supervisor. Collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient workshop operations and minimal vehicle downtime. Contributing to a safe, clean, and organized work environment. A strong interest in automotive technology and vehicle maintenance. Good understanding of workshop and garage processes. Solid technical knowledge of commercial vehicles and vehicle components. Basic knowledge of diagnostic software such as Mancads, Haldex, Knorr, Wabco, or similar systems. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A flexible, accurate, and positive working attitude. A commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous learning. The ability to communicate effectively and contribute to constructive solutions.
