You ensure that KPN makes the right strategic choices for the evolution of our network and cloud landscape. Thanks to you, business priorities are translated into clear target states, multi-year roadmaps and execution-ready plans. Not only will you structure complex trade-offs around resilience, cost and security, you will also guide decision-making through governance and stakeholder alignment. You play a key role in building robust business cases and supporting leadership with crisp, executive-level insights.
Developing strategy, target state and roadmaps across network infrastructure and cloud platformsStructuring options and driving decisions on scalability, sovereignty, security and costBuilding business cases with CAPEX/OPEX drivers, benefits tracking and risk assessmentAligning stakeholders across engineering, architecture, finance, operations and commercial teamsProducing executive-ready materials such as decision papers, briefings and progress reportsYou will join a highly skilled team working at the intersection of network infrastructure and cloud transformation. The team is collaborative, analytical and focused on delivering long-term value for KPN. Together, you work closely with senior stakeholders and contribute to strategic programmes shaping the digital backbone of the Netherlands.
You are confident operating in complex environments where both telecom networks and cloud platforms come together. You communicate clearly, challenge constructively and know how to align senior stakeholders. Analytical thinking comes naturally to you, and you are comfortable translating technical topics into strategic investment decisions. You enjoy working on transformation topics with real impact. To be successful in this role, you will need at least:
10+ years experience in strategy, transformation, portfolio/program roles or technical leadershipWorking knowledge of telecom domains (fixed access, mobile RAN/core, IP/optical transport)Working knowledge of cloud concepts (IaaS/PaaS, hybrid cloud, containers/Kubernetes)Strong analytical skills with proven business case development capabilitySenior stakeholder management and crisp communication skills.Don’t meet every single requirement?
