Leading role to establish globally process standards in extrusion to minimize variation, eliminate systematic inefficiencies and waste (scrap, rework and workoff)
Challenge old paradigm by establishing new methodologies, like agile project approaches, BIG DATA implementation, digitalization and develop innovative solution
Develop and establish sustainable solution to stabilize manufacturing processes with regards to
tire weight, tire uniformity, visual appearance, rolling resistance, …
Lead projects within Manufacturing and R&D as stakeholder to enhance product performance stability by continuously reducing production variations.
Establish and promote risk assessment culture in manufacturing process organization
Run necessary process risk assessment with R&D and plant process engineers for sustainable process performance
Establish and promote continuous improvement culture in manufacturing process organization with regard to capability, efficiency and yield maximization
Manage a diverse / cross functional R&D and Manufacturing team
Coaching and supporting within global processing team network by sharing and documenting best of best practices
Highly self driven and strong motivation skills Academic Degree in Engineering, i.e. Mechanical, Industrial or equivalentExperience in collaboration with production plants for product industrialization / implementation across different locations or tire development is preferredProject management experience in an international environment is beneficialFluent in English (written and spoken)Strategic thinking and creativityData analytics and statistical evaluation skills are preferredStructured, self-dependent working styleAbility to work in a team, problem solving skills as well as assertivenessStrong customer and result orientationIntercultural sensitivityStrong communication and passion to drive new ideas into realitycca 30 % of traveling
